Conditions can change quickly

An air-conditioning problem, visible plumbing leak, refrigerator failure, pest activity or storm-related issue may begin between visits. Weekly service cannot prevent every problem, but it shortens the time a readily observable concern might otherwise go unnoticed for weeks or months.

Cooling and humidity deserve attention

Southwest Florida homes depend heavily on air conditioning. During a visit, checking thermostat readings, indoor conditions and normal HVAC operation can reveal an obvious change that deserves attention. Smart thermostats can add remote temperature and humidity information, but an in-person visit can observe conditions outside the view of an app.

Water can cause major disruption

A visual check around accessible sinks, toilets, appliances, ceilings and floors may reveal moisture, staining or leakage. Depending on the selected plan and the client’s instructions, a visit may also include operating designated plumbing fixtures and checking visible areas afterward.

Florida weather affects more than the roof

Wind and heavy rain can disturb screens, gutters, landscaping, doors, windows and exterior items. Safe exterior observation can help document visible changes. Pre-storm and post-storm services always depend on weather, evacuation orders, road conditions and personal safety.

Documentation gives clients a clearer picture

After each Gator Property Watch visit, clients receive photographs and a report covering the items checked. Through the HWIT Client app, they can review completed services, reports and property photos in one convenient place. That is much more useful than simply being told that someone stopped by.
