A trusted set of eyes while you’re away
A home can look perfectly normal from the street while an indoor leak, failed air-conditioning system, unusual odor or appliance problem is developing inside. A home-watch visit is designed to look for readily visible changes and concerns so the client can be informed promptly and decide what to do next.
At Gator Property Watch, Gator Check includes weekly focused interior visits for Riverwood residents. Gator Guard offers comprehensive interior and exterior visits either weekly or every other week. Every plan includes photographs, a written report and access to the HWIT Client app.
Home watch is not house sitting
A house sitter typically lives in or spends extended time at a home and may care for pets, plants or daily household routines. A home-watch professional makes scheduled visits, follows an agreed checklist, documents observable conditions and leaves after the visit is completed. No one occupies the property.
Home watch is not a home inspection
A licensed home inspector performs a specialized evaluation, often for a real-estate transaction or insurance purpose. Home watch is a recurring visual service. It does not replace evaluations by licensed inspectors, engineers, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, pest-control professionals or other specialists.
Home watch is not a security guarantee
Cameras, alarms and smart-home equipment can provide valuable alerts and remote visibility, but technology cannot observe every condition. Home-watch visits complement those tools by providing an in-person look at accessible areas. Neither a visit nor a device can guarantee that theft, damage or equipment failure will not occur.
What happens when a concern is found?
The client is contacted with photographs and details about the observable concern. When requested and authorized, Gator Property Watch can help coordinate access for an appropriate service provider. Independent contractors work for the client and are responsible for their own professional work.
